Adrián Gouet (Santiago de Chile, 1982) is a visual artist whose practice operates at the intersection of painting and archival research, developing a pictorial methodology that turns the accumulation of heterogeneous images into unexpected forms of encounter, causing memory and imagination to entangle with each other. He holds a PhD in Arts & Humanities from the Royal College of Art, London (2024), and an MFA from Universidad de Chile (2013). His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections in Chile, Europe and the United States. He currently teaches at the School of Art of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and is developing a major exhibition project for the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) Santiago in 2027.
